Our Mission

Feline Rescue Network saves cats at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding and limited adoption opportunities by partnering with shelters and rescues, giving them a second chance to thrive in loving homes.

Our Vision

A future where no cat loses its life due to shelter overpopulation, limited resources, or lack of adoption opportunities.

Commitment to Lifesaving – We believe every cat deserves the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home.

Our History

Feline Rescue Network, formerly known as Look What the Cat Brought In, was founded in 2008 with a mission to help cats—especially those with special needs—find and remain in loving homes. As the first cat-exclusive shelter in Colorado Springs, the organization has evolved alongside the changing needs of both the community and its feline population.

Over the years, advances in local animal welfare efforts have allowed Feline Rescue Network to expand its impact beyond the Pikes Peak region. Today, the organization works with shelter and rescue partners in communities facing cat overpopulation, providing life-saving opportunities by transporting cats to Colorado Springs where adoption demand is stronger. Through these partnerships, Feline Rescue Network helps more cats find the safe, permanent homes they deserve through our limited admission, adoption-guaranteed rescue and shelter.
